Casino Tropicale
Shanti and MAX will host a casino night at the
Rincon Center, 101 Spear Street, San Francisco on March 4th. MAX helped
Shanti raise $20,000 at last year's Casino Tropicale where more than 350
people attended a fabulous party. The Rincon Center was hopping with
gamblers, dancers, great food, drink, and entertainment. This year, the
gambling venue will include slot machines. In addition, there will be a
silent auction and a raffle drawing with American Airlines travel as a
prize. Tickets will be sold at the door for $25.00. For more
information about Casino Tropicale, call Doren Martin at Shanti 674.4764. If you're interested in volunteering at the event please
call MAX Outreach director Jeff Nigh at 752.7340.
Since 1974, Shanti and its volunteers have dedicated themselves to
enhancing the quality of life, improving the well-being and promoting
the independence of people living with terminal illness, primarily HIV
