The MAX Board would like to show our appreciation for all MAX members by sponsoring a FREE ice cream social. Please plan to join us at the Swedish American Hall at 2174 Market St. at Sanchez, San Francisco from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. We'll have ice cream, sorbet, sodas and lots of fun! Help us get an approximate count by booking online or calling Dennis Baker at  821-9363. Members free, guests $10.00.

Friday, May 12
Edward II at A.C.T.

Plan ahead to join your MAX friends for this theater evening. This masterpiece, rarely staged because of its sheer scope, marks the A.C.T. debut of director Mark Lamos, widely praised for his arresting interpretations of Shakespearean and Jacobean drama, as well as for his productions of Rigoletto and La Boheme for the San Francisco Opera. Reserve online and Bill Funke will confirm your $50 member or $55 non-member ticket.
