California Caverns Tour

Go down with MAXsports! Take a tour of California Caverns, a spectacular cave system in Calaveras County. Our adventure starts with a fun-filled bus ride to the Sierra Nevada mountains. Once at the cave, we'll embark on the "Trail Of Lights" - a 60-80 minute guided tour of the Jungle Room with its crystalline vines, mysterious pools, and minerals. The tour is on level, well-lighted passageways, so no effort (or mud) is involved. Next, we'll pan for gold in an historic gold mine and have a picnic before leaving for home. This all-day adventure is yours for just $60.00 (Members) / $80.00 (Guests) and includes bus ticket, cave admission, gold mining kit, lunch, drinks and a few other surprises. The event is limited to forty people, so reserve online or call Vince Beaudet at  337-1914.
