MAX is pleased to present MAXscene, our monthly newsletter. It's produced in Adobe Acrobat PDF format, and you'll need the Acrobat Reader to view it. See the TIPS below about how to get the Reader.
  • Click to view the December 2002 MAXscene. (Note: it will take 4 minutes 40 seconds to load into the Acrobat Reader if you are on a dial-up connection. You may not see any activity while it is downloading.)

  • To download it and save it to your computer:
    • On a PC, right-click here and choose "Save Target As..."
    • On a Mac, choose to save the file for later viewing.

The PDF file is 1.5MB in size, and will take about 5 minutes to download if you are on dialup, but only 25 seconds on a high-speed connection.

Tips about viewing and saving PDF files:

  • When you click to view a PDF file, it will probably be presented in your browser window. Many people prefer for it to be viewed in a separate window. You can do this by:
    • Open Adobe Acrobat Reader
    • Click Edit > Preferences > General > Options
    • Uncheck "Display PDF in Browser"

  • If you don't have the Acrobat Reader, you can download the reader. It is a large program.

  • If MAXscene does not appear to display correctly in your Acrobat Reader, you may need a more recent version of Acrobat Reader.  DOWNLOAD READER

  • To save a PDF file, you can directly download it, as described above (right-click the link.)
Or, while viewing a PDF file, you can click
"File > Save a copy" and save it in a folder where you can find it later.

  • If you are using an older Mac computer, you might receive a message that says you need to configure a Helper Application. In most cases, you can choose to save the file, and view it later.
